TABI Voices of The Street (VOS)

In a world increasingly shaped by borders and polarizing headlines, TABI Voices of the Street brings people closer through honest, face-to-face conversation. Bringing their voices to your ears to experience the first-hand opinions of the people living in major Abraham Accord cities.

From Israel, Morocco, to the UAE and beyond we take to the streets to speak with everyday people actively living in these major cities. Each person is invited to share a short message or question for someone in another city across the region;  a stranger who might feel surprisingly familiar. These filmed street interviews capture spontaneous, unscripted reflections that together form a growing dialogue across cultures, faiths, and communities.

The format is simple and direct. We conduct short video interviews with people on the street, asking them to send a message or question to their “brothers and sisters” in a different city. Each exchange becomes part of a wider network of voices connecting across borders.

Motive
At TABI, we believe peace begins with people. Despite our differences, we share deep roots through our histories, cultures, and everyday lives. Real connection starts when we see one another as individuals. Dialogue is not about solving everything at once. It is about starting a relationship.

Reasoning
In a time of growing polarization and media fatigue, VOS offers something different. It brings diplomacy back to a human scale seen at eye-level.

By focusing on three diverse but connected countries, the project uncovers threads of identity, curiosity, and care that often go unnoticed. These conversations remind us that diplomacy is not limited to formal settings. It also lives in the streets, in the questions people ask one another, and in the willingness to listen.

Relationship to TABI Voices
While TABI Voices of the Street stands on its own, it shares a common mission with the TABI Voices – the pen pal project. Both initiatives aim to foster dialogue, understanding, and meaningful relationships across the Abraham Accords region and beyond.

The pen pal program creates space for deeper, more personal, private exchanges. VOS brings urgency, presence, and public visibility to people on the streets of major cities of the Abraham Accords to hear what they have to say to their neighbours. Together, they express TABI’s belief that lasting peace is built through real conversation and the relationships it creates.
